Tell us what you’re working on.

A real person reads every message. We usually reply within one business day, and if a question needs a longer answer than email can carry, we’ll say so and find a time to talk.

It helps enormously if you tell us who the learner is, what you’ve already tried, and what specifically is going wrong. “He reverses letters” and “she can decode but can’t remember what she read” point in very different directions.

One thing we can’t do

We teach a method for instruction. We don’t diagnose dyslexia or any other learning difference, and we can’t tell you whether a learner has one. A diagnosis comes from a qualified evaluator — an educational psychologist or a similar specialist. We’re glad to help you think about whether that’s a step worth taking.
